Do you sell golf carts or LSV's?

No. ZoomAround does not sell carts, only rentals.

What forms of payment does ZoomAround accept?

ZoomAround only accepts card payments. We accept payment from all major credit card companies.

How old do I have to be to rent and/or drive a cart?

The minimum age to both rent and drive a cart is 21 years old.

Do you sell batteries for golf carts?

No, Zoom Around does not sell batteries.

Can I put 7 people on a 6-passenger?

No. It is required by law that each person must have their own seat and seat belt.

Do I have to wear a seat belt?

Yes. All passengers in the front row are required to wear seat belts, in addition to those in the back row if you are under the age of 18.

Do you recommend using car seats?

Due to legal liabilities, we cannot make any recommendations on car seats. Since our vehicles are street legal, we recommend following the same safety protocols as you do in cars. Please be advised that most car seats are made for a 3-point harness; our carts have 2-point harnesses.

How fast do your carts travel?

ZoomAround’s carts are street legal and are legally bound to a speed between 20-25 mph.

Do we lease to own?

No. ZoomAround does not offer this.

Do you deliver to resorts, hotels and/or rental houses?

Yes. ZoomAround will deliver to the resort, hotel or rental house in which you are staying.

Can I purchase rental insurance?

When renting a street legal golf cart with ZoomAround, insurance coverage is already included within the price of the rental. We do offer an additional Personal Protection Waiver for a small daily fee that covers the Renter from accidental damages up to $2,500 during the rental period.

What makes a cart street legal or a Low Speed Vehicle(LSV)?

A street legal cart (LSV) must have all of the following specifications:
1. A minimum speed of 20 mph and maximum of 25 mph
2. Florida registration
3. Insurance coverage
4. Features turn signals, headlights, tail lights, horn, seat belts, DOT windshield, side mirrros, reflectors, slow moving vehicle sign.

Where can I drive the cart?

ZoomAround’s carts are street legal and can be driven on any road that is 35 mph or less.

Can I rent for a few hours after my return time?

Yes. However, you will be charged for an entire additional day.

Is it okay to charge an electric cart at a rental condo?

Yes, but we advise consulting with the property owner prior to doing so.

Where can I park the cart?

Our carts are street legal and must be parked in a legal parking spot just as any other vehicle would be.

Can I drive my cart on the beach?

No. It is illegal to drive the carts on the beach.

Can I drive the cart on any road?

No. Carts may only be driven on roads that do not exceed 35 mph.

Can I drive the cart on a bike path?

No. Carts cannot be driven on a bike path.

What happens if I drive the cart out of ZA territory?

You will be subject to a minimum $50 fee and/or other penalties will be determined by ZoomAround.

What areas does ZoomAround Service?

Zoom Around services the following areas Sarasota, Bradenton, Siesta Key, Long Boat Key, Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, Bradenton Beach, St. Armands, and Lido Key. We do service Venice and Osprey, but may charge an additional delivery and pick up fee.

Do you charge a delivery and pick up fee?

ZoomAround charges a $17.95 delivery fee and $17.95 pickup fee on every rental.

Can I come pick up a cart at your office location?

No. Zoom Around currently only delivers carts.

Do I have to return the cart with a full tank?

No, we build the cost of gas into our pricing.

Is it okay to charge an electric cart at a rental condo?

Yes, but we advise consulting with the property owner prior to doing so.

How do you price your rentals?

We price our carts on a 24 hour basis, and prices are determined based on the length of the rental.

Can I rent a cart for a couple of hours?

No, our minimum rental time is 24 hours.

What should I look out for when renting a cart?

Make sure it is a Florida licensed LSV (not just a golf cart). LSV’s or low speed vehicles are fully licensed, insured, inspected by the DMV and are street legal vehicles.

Do you sell chargers for golf carts?

No. We do not sell chargers or any other parts.

Can I drive a cart over the Cortez bridge?

Yes. The Cortez bridge speed limit is 35 mph or less.

Can I drive a cart over the Manatee Ave bridge?

No. You cannot drive carts over the Manatee Ave bridge.

Can I drive over the Siesta Key bridges?

No. The Siesta Key bridge speed limit is above 35 mph, so it is illegal.

What is your policy for accidental pricing mistakes?

All prices on this website are subject to change without notice. Yes. You are responsible for returning the cart with a full charge.

One charge will travel around 15 miles.

How long does it take to charge an electric cart?

Standard Electric Carts: It takes about 8 hours to charge.
Executive Electirc Carts: Charging takes approximately 6 hours when the battery is completely dead.
*We recommend charging whenever possible. Overnight charging is advised.

Yes, you can! We also offer Delivery & Pickup service for an additional $75.

Do I need to be present at the property at the time of pick up and/or delivery?

No, you are not required to be present for the delivery or pick up of the cart, but we do require your rental agreement to be signed before delivery. Once signed, we will deliver the cart to the designated address with the key.

Do you deliver to resorts, hotels and/or rental houses?

Yes. ZoomAround will deliver to the resort, hotel or rental house in which you are staying. We advise consulting with your rental’s property owner to confirm they are able to accomidate charging required for our electric carts.

Can I get a refund on the pick-up/delivery fee if I decided to do so on my own?

Once pick-up and delivery fee is paid prior to delivery of reservation, it is non-refundable.

We recommend all passengers wear their seatbelts at all times. All passengers in the front row are required to wear seat belts by state law, in addition to those in the back row if you are under the age of 16.

Can I put 7 people on a 6-passenger and/or 5 people on a 4-passenger?

Do you offer monthly/long-term rentals?

There is no maximum on rentals in-season.

What do I do if I aquire a ticket in my LSV while under my rental agreement?

All tickets must be reported immediatley. All parking tickets must be reported within 24 hours.

Do we allow pets in/on our golf carts?

As much as we love our four-legged friends, we do not allow pets in or on our LSV’s.
